Many of you might not know that our classmate Rebekah Carter has been very ill and fighting for her life for almost a month now. She has made steps forward but has started to take some steps back, that has resulted in her being placed in Neurological Intensive Care Unit.
No one is giving up hope and Rebekah continues to show resolve to get better. Her doctors can tell she and her body are fighting. She has NOT given up. She has an amazing boyfriend and two teenage sons to fight for.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It is thanks to Rebekah that I decided to have this 2011 reunion. She was the one who thought of the theme for our Reunion which is "Sweet 16". She pointed out that our 5yr reunion didn't happen and we had a 6yr. So when I was struggling to get the 15yr together she recommended that I stop stressing and push it off till this Summer. Even it meant we were having a 16yr.
Hang in there Rebekah and we are all pulling and praying for you! You need to get better so you can be there at our Reunion in July! I can't wait to give you a big hug :)

ReplyDeleteHaving known Rebekah for a long time, she is one of the.gentlest ,but toughest cookies i gave ever met! Thoughts and prayers ate with her every moment of every day...she is a survivor....
